Thousands of people marched through Copenhagen demanding action from leaders at the UN climate talks. Most of the march passed off peacefully, but one group of young people is said to have smashed windows and several of its members were arrested. Extra police were deployed on the streets of the Danish capital ahead of the protests and hundreds of others were detained in preventative action by police.
