Copenhagen: hope remains amid disappointment

The COP15 climate change conference ended with the production of the non-binding Copenhagen Accord.

During the conference, developed countries dodged the issue of climate justice, and the necessary mitigation targets and funding pledges were not fixed.

China did its part as a large responsible developing country, but some developed nations blamed China while failing to deliver mitigation targets and and financial and technological support for developing nations.

The conflict is not over yet, but hope still remains amid the general mood of disappointment.
