Jianmin Ren

Jianmin Ren Chief of Bangkok Bureau People’s Daily, China’s flagship newspaper. Ren has been a science journalist since 1997 and has worked as an overseas correspondent. He was the vice-chief of the science news division of People’s Daily, covering many important science activities, such as the launching of “ShenZhou” spacecraft and China’s first Arctic scientific expedition. REN has bachelor degrees of Engineering and Arts, as well as a PhD degree in journalism. The topic of his PhD dissertation is Research on Quandary of Science Journalism in China and Its Solutions.
