Harold Williams

Environmental Journalist Harold Williams is a multi-media producer with on-line and broadcast publications. AFRICANEWS.COM is the publisher of his electronic news. Harold is a contracted News Editor and Producer of ENVIROSCOPE, an environmental awareness programme which has been on air since 1997 at the Sierra Leone broadcasting Service. Harold is the Chairman of the Union of Environmental Journalists, working towards transparent environmental disclosure, since 1996. He is a trainer of journalists certified by the New Partnership for Development-NEPAD, a programme begun in 2006. Harold has been the frontline media partner with the Climate Change Office in Sierra Leone, the country’s Forestry Department and its Environment Division.
