The UN Climate Change meeting has been open now for just a few hours. Nevertheless, at the first press briefing by the European Union, the head of its negotiating team, Artur Runge-Metzger, flagged up a real and concrete proposal. The bloc is going to propose targets to stop tropical deforestation within the convention framework.
