Fidelis Zvomuya

Fidelis Zvomuya's multi-faceted career includes journalism, media, health, education, communications and politics. Born in Zimbabwe, Fidelis began his career in 2000 with the BBC. He moved to South Africa in 2003, where he joined Caxton Magazines as a senior journalist. He helped in the setting up of a health and environment desk and went on to become the company’s environment and agriculture editor for five magazines and one daily newspaper. Fidelis holds a master’s degree from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, a Diploma in Journalism and Professional Writing from Intec College, Cape Town, and a Diploma in Mass Communication from Harare Polytechnic. He has also worked for several media houses in Zimbabwe and Swaziland and was employed as a news editor for The Daily News and as an environment, agriculture and health editor for the Tribune Newspapers Group. From Caxton, Fidelis has moved to Agriconnect Communication Media, where he is the editor responsible for African health, agriculture, environment and development issues.
